Alexander Recalt, LCSW
Alex is a Swiss-born, multilingual former management consultant and current psychotherapist and mental health researcher who's called 12 cities home. He sees therapy not as something fundamentally medical, but as a conversation in the truest sense of the word: a familiar, intimate space in which human beings can be radically and safely honest with each other about how hard life can be, and work together to make it even a little bit easier.
He earned his B.A. at Middlebury College and his Master's degree at Florida International University. He's currently pursuing his Ph.D, conducting quantitative, big-data research on prescribed psychotropic drug safety. Besides plumbing the depths of the human condition in pursuit of happier, more satisfied clients, he enjoy the bass guitar, the NBA, and statistics — so if you have a favorite scale, power forward, or R package, don't hesitate to call him.
